The Roper Legend

One starlit evening, as the Roper family settled in for a peaceful night's rest, Whiskers, the ever-vigilant feline member of the family, was restlessly prowling the perimeter of the farm. Suddenly, his keen eyes spotted suspicious movement in the shadows near the neighboring farm's stables. Morgan, the wise and gentle matriarch of the Roper family, sensed the urgency in Whiskers' demeanor and immediately roused her mate, Scout, and their three pups, Duke, Daisy, and Rusty.
